The latest success made in Puerto Real by Dragados Offshore for Total E&P Danmark A\/S, the Tyra Future Development Project sailed away yesterday, September 2 to be installed in the Danish sector of the North Sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Jackets are transported on barge H-627 belonging to Heerema and are likely to reach final destination (approximately 225km west off the coast of Esbjerg, Denmark) within 10 natural days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Tyra field comprises the Tyra East and Tyra West facilities. The field has been in production for thirty years, and the existing facilities are suffering from seabed subsidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The project consists of TEG Jacket 6.338 tons & TEH Jacket 3.923 tons (excluding piles).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The scope of work awarded to Dragados Offshore is the project management, HSEQ management, procurement, construction, preservation, preparation for sail-away including load-out, sea-fastening and handover of the Tyra Jackets TEG (Jacket for the Process and Utility Platform) and TEH (Jacket for the Accommodation Platform).
