FIRST STEEL CUT FOR LANWIN2 PROJECT – A STEP FORWARD IN THE PROGRESS TOWARD THE EUROPEAN ENERGY TRANSITION PROGRAMME

Dragados Offshore S.A.U. is thrilled to announce the start of the steel blocks fabrication at our subcontractors facilities: Cimolai in Italy and Eversandai in UAE. The first steel cutting ceremonies took place successfully at both sites, being the trigger of a new phase in the execution of the 2GW HVDC Offshore Platform for TenneT Germany offshore grid connection LanWin2.

This milestone represents another step forward and reinforce Dragados Offshore’s commitment and collaboration together with our partner Siemens Energy with the European Energy Transition and with our client TenneT.

We look forward to receiving our first steel blocks in the coming months and to initiate the integration, installation, equipment installation and testing activities at our yard in Algeciras (Spain).
