BUZZARD

The central production complex of the Buzzard field consists of three interconnected platforms by bridges. The Accommodation/Services Platform is located at the western end of the complex, the Production Platform is in the center, and the Wellhead Platform is at the eastern end. The Buzzard field is expected to produce for more than twenty (20) years, with the production facility processing more than 200,000 barrels of oil per day and about 100 million cubic feet of associated gas per day. Water injection and acid gas treatment will be required, and dedicated oil and gas pipelines, connected to the existing infrastructure, will export both oil and gas.

Scope of Work: Our scope included construction engineering, partial procurement, fabrication, mechanical completion, assistance in commissioning, and loading of the production deck with a total weight of 10,500 tons. The Production Deck consists of a single-lift integrated structure, 60 m long x 24 m wide over the main lattice lines and 26 m high, from the top of the basement deck to the top of the weather deck.
