MARINER
The Mariner offshore field is located at water depths ranging from 97 m to 112 m. It is situated approximately 130 km from the British coast and 40 km northwest of the international border between the United Kingdom and Norway. Production is planned to be supported by 50 wells and 92 branches, which will be connected to a production, drilling, and accommodation unit (PDQ) secured on a fixed steel jacket platform. The PDQ unit will, in turn, be connected to a floating production storage and offloading unit (FPSO). The platform will first separate gas and water from the produced oil. Then, the stabilized oil will be sent to the FSU vessel for storage, from where it will be transported to the coast via shuttle tankers.
Scope of Work: Our scope includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), mechanical completion, loading, and marine assurance of the Mariner jacket, which will have an approximate total weight of 22,400 tons, the largest ever built by Dragados Offshore at the Cádiz yard and the largest jacket ever built by Statoil.
