The jacket of the Mariner project for Statoil sailed-away from Dragados Offshore’s yard in Puerto Real, Cadiz, Spain towards the North Sea.

The jacket of the Mariner project for Statoil sailed-away from Dragados Offshore’s yard in Puerto Real, Cadiz, Spain towards the North Sea.
Construction of the largest jacket ever built by Dragados Offshore, and the largest ever built for Statoil, with a total weight of 22.400 tons, started in October 2013 and was completed in May 2015, on time, within budget and with a very good results in both HSE and quality.
The journey from the southern part of Spain to the Mariner field, located on the East Shetland Platform of the North Sea, approximately 150 kms east of the Shetland Isles, is expected to take around two weeks.
