As of 19th of May 2020 Dragados Offshore, S.A. has achieved the certification ISO 45001:2018, proving once more the highest standard of its integrated HSEQ Management System to comply with the international applicable standards.

To count with an Occupational health and safety (OHS) Certificate allows organizations to approach the most demanding markets and provide transparency not only to clients but also to collaborators and investors. The ISO 45001:2018 Standard is set to replace the previous OHSAS 18001:2007 standard by March 2021.

The main change of the ISO 45001:2018 with respect to the OHSAS 18001:2007 is the reinforcement of the role of the high management in the leadership of the occupational health and safety management system, being this one a business strategy.

The scope of this approval is applicable to:

Design, construction, installation, repairing, assembly, start-up and maintenance of: jackets, platforms, modules off-shore and for general industries, modular industry plants, metallic structures, general steel works, machinery, industrial equipment, general industrial structural prefabrication, lifting manoeuvres, load-out, sea-fastening and transport, as well as construction of subsea pipeline.
