Dragados Offshore has recently achieved one of the important project milestones, covering the platform Concept Design for the offshore grid connection project BorWin5. DNV-GL, acting as a recognized Certifying Authority by The Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH), has confirmed Dragados’ “Concept Design” for the platform BorWin epsilon within the project BorWin5, proving the efforts carried out by all our personnel to continuously Build Excellence Worldwide.

This proof of conformity to the “BSH Standard Konstruktion Mindestanforderungen an die konstruktive Ausführung von Offshore-Bauwerken in der ausschließlichen Wirtschaftszone (AWZ)” is the prerequisite for the BSH1 application.

Dragados Offshore is developing, in consortium with Siemens, the HVDC converter platform of the BorWin5 HVDC offshore grid connection project for TenneT. The project is scheduled to go into operation in 2025.
